How to Enrol

Now that your application has been accepted, we can turn to the enrolment process. All students who have accepted their offer of admission into a research program at UNSW need to enrol before commencing study. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are enrolled at the start of every semester and that your enrolment is correct.

Please Note: Variations to enrolment after the semester census date are not permitted. To check your enrolment details, log on to your student profile on the myUNSW website.

Enrolment Instructions for New Research Students

To enrol successfully as a research student at UNSW you need to:

  • Download and read the instructions available above
  • Collect your enrolment form from your School Office on the specified day/time
  • Complete your enrolment form and have it approved by your School
  • Return your enrolment form to the Graduate Research School or Paddington Campus (COFA only)
  • Login to your student profile at myUNSW to view your statement
  • Pay any fees owed – failure to do this will result in the cancellation of your enrolment
  • Regularly check your student email for important information

Please note: Postgraduate research students are unable to enrol online.

If you are a continuing research student you will need to check your enrolment and if necessary you may need to re-enrol - please go to the Current Students Re-enrolment instructions.
